How it works

Built for boot nerds, not just sneakerheads

Football boot quizzes online are usually one-off trivia — a single quiz you take once and forget. Kickdle's Boots mode is a daily ritual instead: a new mystery boot every day, spanning decades of Predator, Mercurial, Copa, and King generations, with streaks and shareable results like Wordle.

Iconic boot lineages in the drop pool

Every drop is pulled from the same fixed pool spanning nearly every major boot lineage of the last 50+ years — these are the ones you'll run into most:

Frequently asked questions

Are football boots the same as soccer cleats?

Yes. "Football boots" is the common UK/international term and "soccer cleats" is the common US term for the same footwear. Kickdle's Boots mode covers both interchangeably.

What boot brands are included?

Boots mode spans generations of models from Adidas (Predator, Copa, X, F50), Nike (Mercurial, Tiempo, Phantom, Hypervenom, Magista), Puma, New Balance, Mizuno, Under Armour, Umbro, Diadora and Lotto.

Does the boots streak affect my sneaker streak?

No. Sneakers and Football Boots are fully independent daily puzzles with their own separate streaks, stats, and past-drop archives.

Is this an official tournament or league product?

No. Kickdle is an independent guessing game and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by FIFA, any football association, club, league, or tournament.

Does Kickdle track boots worn at this year's tournament?

Not directly — Boots mode draws from a historical pool spanning decades of releases, not a real-time roster tracker. But many of the silhouettes players are wearing in top-level matches right now, like Predator, Mercurial, Phantom, and Copa, are already in the drop pool.

Why do some football boots have a knit ankle collar and others don't?

It's a lockdown-fit trend that took off in the 2010s (Nike's Magista and Mercurial Superfly, Adidas's Predator 18+), meant to make the boot feel like an extension of the sock. Kickdle's Silhouette clue tracks this as High-top vs Low-top, same as it does for sneakers.
